Frequently asked questions

What to know before your first visit.

Mowmi may be different from the lawn service you’re used to. Here’s how visits work, what our team handles, and what you can expect.

01

Is Mowmi a mower I buy?

+

No. Mowmi is a lawn service. We bring the robotic equipment, operate it, maintain it, and take it home after every visit.

02

Does a robot stay at my home?

+

No. Our robo-friends travel with the Mowmi team. There is no mower, dock, or charging station left on your property.

03

What is a Mowmi robo-friend?

+

It is one of the robotic mowers we bring to your lawn. We give each one a friendly name, such as Clover, Scout, or Sunny, so you can get to know the Mowmi helpers caring for your lawn.

04

Why does Mowmi bring more than one robo-mower?

+

Using several compact mowers helps us cover different parts of the lawn during one visit. A Mowmi care lead sets them up and supervises the work.

05

Will a person be there?

+

Mowmi is a human-led service. A care lead brings the robo-crew and monitors and oversees the visit. They move equipment as needed, check the finish, and handle the agreed details before the crew heads home.

06

Do you handle edging and trimming?

+

Mowmi Complete pairs robotic mowing with scheduled edging, trimming, and hardscape blow-off. The exact finish is agreed during your lawn walkthrough.

07

Will robotic mowing work in every yard?

+

Not every lawn is a good fit. Tight gates, steep slopes, disconnected areas, heavy obstacles, soft ground, and other conditions can affect service. We walk the property before recommending a plan.

08

Is it safe around children and pets?

+

Robotic mowers have safety features, but they are still outdoor power equipment. We plan each visit around your property and do not mow near children or pets. Your care lead will pause the equipment if conditions change.

09

Is Mowmi more sustainable than traditional mowing?

+

Our robo-mowers are rechargeable and electric, so they produce no exhaust at your lawn and are typically quieter than gas mowers. We also plan neighborhood routes to limit unnecessary driving.

10

What happens in rain or extreme weather?

+

We adjust or reschedule when rain, heat, saturated ground, or another condition would be hard on the lawn, unsafe, or unlikely to produce a good result.

11

What if a robo-friend gets stuck or stops?

+

Your care lead will reposition or replace the mower and continue the visit. Equipment support and maintenance are included in the service.

12

How much does Mowmi cost?

+

Pricing depends on lawn area, complexity, visit frequency, crew size, and finishing work. After the lawn walkthrough, you receive a clear service recommendation and price.

13

Do I need a long contract?

+

We’ll explain the service terms before you sign up. Requesting a lawn visit does not create a commitment or require payment.

14
